The pink, purple and blue stars in my artwork sharply contrast the place I grew up. There it was always summer, very warm and filled with warm colors. After a while, I got tired of the repetitiveness. I was no longer satisfied with the sun. Instead, I gravitated toward the sky just before sunrise and sunset. In those moments I could see purple and other hues of blue that caught my eye more than the bright, warm colors of summer. With the night itself as my inspiration, I began to work in digitally. This allowed me to tint my whole created world in cool hues. The more I explored and created in the digital world the more I started to love characters. I loved trying to bring them to life, giving them the illusion of movement even if it was a static image. Over time my craft developed and my characters color scheme to fit perfectly with my life and personality, almost like family.
